I'm becoming quickly convinced that Emily Gray is a huge talent just waiting to be discovered by people all over the world because, following on from her exceptional 'Apocalypse' EP, she has now released the equally impressive new single 'Tsunami'. Sprinkled melodies and a sense of hope after the storm get things going before Gray's assured indie pop vocal joins in somewhere between KT Tunstall and an English Alicia Keys. The chorus picks the tempo up a few notches with something more akin to the Levellers and when you look at those three reference points together in just one song you'll understand my high regard for this particular artist.
