Danish artist Emilie Thorsby is back with new single 'Mafia Girl', representing another variation in direction from the singer-songwriter. Coming in at just under two minutes, this track relies on a Euro-pop horn melody blending with dirty beats and throbbing bass, creating a platform for Thorsby's vocals to play out on top. The battle between the trumpet and the vocal in the chorus is indicative of the jostle for attention in the modern world but, ultimately, that smooth vocal delivery will always win out.
