Candy Republic - Army of Robots

This is the debut release from Exeter outfit Candy Republic but this is not a timid dipping of the toe in to new waters. No, 'Army of Robots' strides confidently in to the saloon amid a flurry of hard acoustic strumming, clattering drums and vocals battling to be heard. This is an attack on the senses, for sure, but if you can't get on board with the Mudhoney-esque grunge vibes and rock'n'roll spirit gushing out of this first release then you've lost your head so give it a wobble and let's get on with it, yeah? Yeah!
