They might look like a couple of writers on some sort of immersive retreat but Devon based duo Burr Island are actually starting to makes some splashes on the music scene. The pair's new single, 'Nunney Town', is a gloriously upbeat melodic folk tune with acoustic guitar, violin and accordion all bouncing along to the skipping beat of the drum, nudging them down the dirt track home. The real star here is the vocal harmonies of our two heroes which intertwine perfectly like plaits of golden and brown hair glistening in the morning sun. One of those songs that's good for your soul.
