Black Country duo Big Special have already grabbed my attention with their last single but this latest release takes things to another level. 'This Here Ain't Water' is like a mix of Hozier and Rag'n'Bone Man but with a Jon Spencer preacher style to the vocals which makes this the kind of song that you need in your darkest hours. As they spit out the lyric "This hear ain't water" and then rap verses like Mike Skinner, you'd be forgiven for having a flutter on these two being a hot ticket at Glastonbury 2024 and everyone else before then.
