South coast siren Wyse is back with new single '3 Whole Days' and it is quite the trip. Intense beats, 80s inspired guitars and the kind of vocals that demand your presence on the dance floor all swirl around in a blur of disco vibes and popped-collar, indie cool. There's a hint of Blondie's 'Atomic' in the music but the vocal melody is fresher and delivered with a breathless energy that is more Karen O than Debbie Harry. Wyse is making a play for the top of my solo artist of 2022 list and that's after just two singles so who knows what else is on the horizon. Not I, sir, not I.
