First things first, Rancid Eddie is a great name for a band - I just wanted to make a note of that. Similarly, 'Tiger Love' is a great name for a song so the Melbourne quintet are already off to a flyer by my reckoning. This track is a mellow, piano based ballad with a vibe that is somewhere between Oasis and Jet but there is more to come as the song unfolds in front of you. As the chorus swells you get the very real feeling that Rancid Eddie mean business as the stadium filling sound and spine tingling melodies make you feel like you're watching Aerosmith in their prime. Australia has such a good record of producing great rock bands and Rancid Eddie might just be the pretenders to that throne.
