Sometimes, you just know you're going to like a band and upon reading the first few lines of Grave Goods' press blurb I knew this supergroup would be one for me. Grave Goods are formed by members of PINS, Girls Names and September Girls and have created new single 'Source' which, if you're open to it, blow your mind. A piercing guitar line grabs your attention (whether you like it or not) and then a garage-disco bass and drums combination adds some meat to the bones. Vocally, this is deadpan and direct a la Fontaines D.C., M(haol) or IDLES which only adds to the brilliantly brutality of this song. I'm sure this would be a hugely powerful track live but it's not half bad through headphones either. More please!
