I am developing a real soft spot for Icelandic singer-songwriter Arny Margret due to her soft and lace-like vocals and delicate guitar playing. New single 'Sniglar' is in the same vein as Laura Marling in terms of the intimate songwriting and vocals that are sung so softly that you could believe they'd been recorded under the stairs at 2.00am, trying not wake anyone. The melodies mingle and float like dust in the early morning sunlight and it is just beautiful. Not in your face, look at me beautiful but a brief moment in time, a glimpse in to another world beautiful. The best kind.
