LA three-piece Automatic are back with another single ahead of the forthcoming album and 'Skyscraper' is a raw and lo-fi track that has an almost timeless quality to it. A lonely and simple bass line rings out in an abandoned warehouse before twitchy beats and deadpan vocals join in to create an art school, post-punk vibe. When the two note synth line joins in with an angry, almost agitated tone you get the sense that this is a song which does not intend to take a single shit from anybody. The album 'Excess' drops in a month, prepare yourselves.
