CROWS - SINGLE REVIEW

Crows - Room 156 (Bad Vibrations Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Crows are fast becoming one of my favourite new bands and their new single 'Room 156' does nothing to dampen my ardor. The dark and disorientating video is matched by a bass grind and clashing beat over the top of which comes the near-shouted vocal that puts this alongside the Fall, Fontaines D.C., IDLES and Life in terms of vibe. This is a nightmarish song that leers and grins at you from the shadows with glistening teeth and pinhole eyes as you try to negotiate your way through the darkness of your soul.
