FLY THE NEST - SINGLE REVIEW

Fly The Nest - Say Hello

Release Date: Out Now

Just outside Dublin is where you'll find solo artist Fly The Nest (Stephen Cooper to his mum) writing sweeping, anthemic and cinematic musing that will stick with you long after the needle has lifted from the record. 'Say Hello' is an expansive slice of indie-rock that, melodically, wouldn't be out of place on an album by the likes of Elbow, Snow Patrol, the Maccabees or even Feeder. A subdued start soon explodes in to the kind of track you would expect to hear soundtracking the protagonist in a movie fighting his or her way back to the one they love. This is a song full of emotion, intelligence and melodies for days - impressive in its own right but when it's come out of the mind and heart of one man it takes on a new dimension.
