Blue hair, a motorbike and a steely look - it's a strong start from the Danish singer-songwriter and we haven't even heard a note yet. Emilie Thorsby releases 'Besat' which has a cool and polished alt-pop vibe that, while not completely in keeping with the motorbike, is still entirely infectious. Elements of Sia, Robyn and Zero7 come through and Thorsby's voice has a pop purity that is both impressive and good to hear in amongst all the auto-tuned pretenders.
