GALLUS - SINGLE REVIEW

Gallus - Fruitflies (Marshall Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Marshall Records have a real knack for not only unearthing great bands but also finding ones that really know how to craft a song and hook you in. So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Glasgow's Gallus and their new single 'Fruitflies'. We're talking intense indie with a side order of grunge that sits somewhere between the View and Fountains of Wayne with Frank Black on production duties. Throw in the intensity of Idles, LIFE or Fontaines D.C. and you know you're in for a treat when these guys roll in to your town which could be quite soon looking at those December tour dates. [Also, on a personal note, great to see an up and coming band heading to Plymouth and not just stopping at Bristol before turning around].
