I don't know if AMSR-pop is a genre yet but if it is then Grace Lightman might be a pioneer in the field. Lightman's new single 'Eyes 4 U' features a vocal recording that is so delicate and intimate that it feels like a snowflake has landed on your soul, leaving its unique imprint there just for you to feel. The sweeping strings, rippling piano notes and loose beat all add to the feeling of life and energy that this song exudes while lyrics like "I've got eyes for you in the back of my head" become so easy to sing along with that it feels like this song has been here all along. Breathtaking.
