London based chanteuse is back
with new single ‘Ahses’ which has been created during the pandemic and has a
childlike but nonetheless soothing quality to the melodies. Layered vocals mix
like the beads in a slowly turning kaleidoscope while the percussion gently
patters in the background and you get a very real sense of escapism in between
the notes. Seaker’s voice is, of course, beautiful in its traditionally dusky
tones with an underlying soulfulness that really draws the listener in until
you can really appreciate all the nuanced sprinkles of melody and each
carefully selected beat.
