This might be the debut release
from London duo Porcelain but they can already claim Mick Fleetwood as a fan so
that’s a pretty good start to their musical career. This debut single, ‘Last
Word’, is a woozy, tripped out affair that is finely poised between menacing
and chilled and that’s a hard one to pull off. This one will appeal to fans of
Portishead, Moloko, Goldfrapp and Massive Attack with superb vocals weaving together
the skittish beats and ominous melodies to create a soundscape that works as a
piece of standalone music but would also be superb as part of a soundtrack.
