The hugely talented Lack of Afro
(aka Adam Gibbons) is back and this time he’s brought New York rapper Kenzo
along for the party. ‘Bad Ass Self’, as you might imagine, is the kind of track
that gets you pumped up for a night out so if you’re emerging from your corona-cocoon
then get this one on your playlist. A big ol’ bass line from the Motown Soul
playbook, subtle guitar flicks and a tight-ass rhythm punctuated by a low-slung
brass section create the kind of funk playground that Ronson and Mars would kill
for. Kenzo tells you all about getting down with his bad ass self and not only
