It’s taking me longer to write
this review than it will for the song to complete as this is a pop-art-punk
blast that comes in at under two minutes from Sunderland lads Roxy Girls. Nevertheless,
‘Dirtier’ combines elements of Maximo Park, Young Knives, Dutch Uncles and the
Future Heads as the frenetic and frantic guitars, drums and bass jostle for
attention. This just makes me dream of days where we can all bounce around sweaty
little venues again for the sheer unbridled joy of it. Excellent fun.
