London trio Cheerbleederz have
managed to knock up a lockdown video for new single ‘Sometimes I Cry At Work’
which successfully manages to capture the energy of the music on the track
which is impressive considering the times we’re living in. A jaunty, Weezer
meets Berries riff is met with some melodic vocal harmonies and a punchy rhythm
section which makes the non-waterproof mascara splash of the drum skins. Sad
lyrics meet perky indie-pop in pyjamas and, honestly, that is just what I
needed right now.
