MOLLYANNA – SINGLE REVIEW

Mollyanna – Human Error
Mollyanna - Human Error

Release Date: Out Now

This is definitely one of those songs that is greater than the sum of its parts and the band’s self-professed influences of Incubus Fleetwood Mac create both an intriguing proposition and a unique sound. ‘Human Error’ from Mollyanna and it opens with an unassuming acoustic riff accompanied by a steady rhythm section. Then comes the voice of Bernadette, a woman with a voice so intense that it could only be used to front a rock song singing lines like “I love the broken parts of you and I like myself around you too”. As the song moves through its various sections (without ever sounding proggy), you do get the feeling that this was written by Mike Einziger for Stevie Nicks to sing and if that doesn’t at least make you raise an eyebrow then you’ve had too much botox.
