Cornish exile the Golden Dregs is
back with a new track, ‘Just Another Rock’, and if nothing else you have to
give the guy chops for being one of the snappiest dressers in music right now.
Luckily, there is something else and that something is burningly brilliant melodies
played out with clean guitar notes and a little electro line that has an early
Pulp vibe to it. When you mix in the deep, slightly unnerving vocals and mildly
creepy dance moves (imagine your single uncle at a wedding) and you’ve got
yourself an experience worth having – at least once but not on an empty
stomach.
