Westcountry blues rocker Kris Barras and his band are back with new single ‘Ignite (Light It Up)’ and it is quite the beast. With a dirty riff full of groove and funk coming from Mr Barras himself, the band set about punching the living daylights out of the rhythm section before slathering the tune in the sexiest of all organ sounds. By the time the chorus drops you can understand why these guys are one of the most in demand live bands on the UK rock scene and the live video shows you what they’re capable of. There are elements of Reef, some Orphic Soop, a little Aerosmith and a taste of the Lad Classic in this track but there is also the unmistakable Kris Barras sound and you can’t deny that.
