Swedish duo Wy are an intense act
full of focus and brooding energy. The new single, ‘Pavements’, bubbles and
bounces with a malevolent electro force singing “always waiting for the time
when I’ll feel shit again” without stopping for breath. The chorus packs a hell
of a punch (that will land better with you if you watch the video, trust me)
like a mix of Roby, LadyHawke and Angie being played at the wrong speed. Wy
have created a track that makes me want to dance and fight in equal measure
which is both confusing and exhilarating….. a lot like puberty.
