Multinational collective DOMI are
the very start of things and that’s always energy I like to roll around in –
like those people that sniff the heads of new born babies. The band’s new
single, ‘Let Me Follow’, is a wonderfully contemporary sound with beats
dropping in and out with ease and a brooding melody bubbling in the shadows,
waiting to pounce during the choruses. Soup wise, this is delicious gumbo of
Rudimental, Robyn, Clean Bandit and Malmo that has an icy coolness that gets
repeatedly tested with the pounding rhythms and desire to erupt with energy.
This is just the beginning for DOMI but there is a lot more to come, no
question.
