DEXTERS - SINGLE REVIEW

Dexters - Stay Strange (Acid Jazz Records)
Dexters - Stay Strange

Release Date: Out Now

London quartet Dexters are, in the words of Zoolander, so hot right now. The band's new single, 'Stay Strange', is riotous fun with drums pounding from the get-go and a squall of feedback teasing you until the guitars and bass come crashing in with full force. When the song settles in to its stride, there is no doubt that we are experiencing pure indie anthem stuff that should see crowds jumping until their heels bleed at venues up and down the UK this Autumn. Elements of Interpol, the Killers, Pulp and the Kaiser Chiefs are all on display but with a greater sense of rebelliousness and carefree abandon as demonstrated by the superb video largely filmed in what appears to be a soft play area. I can only recommend that you get your eyes and ears around this single before hot footing to the nearest ticketing website to buy tickets for their imminent tour. You would regret it.
