The Family Battenberg - Brand New Boy (Stolen
Body Records)
Release Date: Out Now
Cardiff's nutjobs in residence, the Family Battenberg, are back with bone rattling new single 'Brand New Boy'. Imagine heading down to Brighton for the day on the back of your mate's Vespa with rasping, choppy and swaggering guitars ringing in your ears and you've got yourself in the right kind of headspace. This is escapist fun with early Supergrass energy but coupled with an early Strokes swagger and a breathlessness that suggests they'd be a great laugh, good mates, and an incredible shag. The whole package, then.
