Lily Ward - First Move
Release Date: Out Now
A slice of uplifting electro pop from Lily Ward on her new single 'First Move' which, rather cleverly, stands out from its peers. You see, Ward's vocals keep things melodic without any unnecessary vocal gymnastics and the arrangement is both subtle and punch-packing. It is the beat, however, that really grabbed my attention as it feels more like an acoustic beat then something you'd hear in a club and that puts this closer to the likes of Passenger or Myles Smith. An intriguing artist with an increasingly bright future.
