Blank Atlas - Same Mistake
Release Date: Out Now
Bristol trio Blank Atlas are leaning to the more melodious, US punk area of their sound on new single 'Same Mistake' and I'm here for it. The clattering guitars and heartbroken vocals could make you uncomfortable but the slap of the drums and the build in the chorus gives you a sense of belonging. I can fully imagine this being a sing-a-long favourite during live sets with crowds swaying arm in arm along to the cathartic recognition of the pain in the lyrics. There's a run of live dates coming up around the UK and, from personal experience, I can't recommend checking these guys out highly enough to treat yourself and get down to a show.
