Do you know what I like about Taylor Latham? He has an ability to write effortlessly uplifting tracks that come from the heart and the soul. New single 'Sapphires' speaks of a man who has realised the secret to a happy life - being content with what you have - but set to the kind acoustic bounce and optimistic melody that has served the likes of Myles Smith, Jamie Yost, and Passenger so well. There's a tag on the Soundcloud page for this song that describes it as Coastal Folk and I think that's pretty spot on - it's campfire music for singing along at the end of the day and we all need a bit of that in our lives from time to time.
