It's another slam dunk of a song from Molly Wishart with bittersweet new single 'Dear Daisy'. The laid back country tinged melody is matched with soulful vibes and the kind of easy vocals that should have Radio 2 clambering to get her playlisted. There's a hazy, almost nostalgic sound to this that gives you a warm glow but don't think this is going to be one of those dated tracks, oh no. Wishart has a freshness to her that puts her alongside the likes of Bailey Tomkinson & the Locals, Raye, and Joanna Cooke whilst also taking notes from legends like Carole King. A real talent and a joy to listen to.
