There's a lot going on in this single but if, like me, Lava La Rue is new to you then there's a lot to love as well so pay attention and get ready to fall head over heels. 'Prince Of Bologna' starts with a lo-fi riff and understated vocals before exploding into 90s inspired indie chaos accompanied by one of the best videos I've seen in years. There's some amazing drumming in here which gets its moment in the spotlight but the gnarly guitars, keys and general fuzz is an absolute headswim of euphoria that makes this a hot tip for both single and video of the year. Absolutely outstanding stuff.
