Midlands duo Lake Acacia are one of those acts that say they can't be categorised and, for once, that's actually an accurate description. The pair's new single, 'They Won't Break Us', is heavy, sure, but there's more to it than the power chords and powerhouse drums. There is a late 80s synth layer that comes from the wrong side of the Iron Curtain, an cinematic ambition that will appeal to Muse fans and a melodiousness to the vocals that comes from the pop side of town. All this from two guys as well - impressively undefinable.
