Right, let's be honest - who here thought this would be a DJ Casper cover? Hands up, that's me. However, Bristol's Getdown Services have actually done something rather special on new single 'Cha Cha Slide' with it's woozy synths, subdued vocals, and laid back beats. You see lyrics like "I don't want my mum but I do want someone who can tell me what to do" speak to the heart of a song that describes that feeling out of sync at the party whether your 6, 16 or 26. I can fully identify with the feeling of not knowing the dance moves or the rules to the game so just pretending I don't want to dance or get involved so it's nice to know I'm not alone. A rollercoaster of emotions.
