Whisper it folks but this might just be Skindred's Radio 2 moment. The Welsh band have been on a steadily upward trajectory in both success and mood of music but new single 'Can I Get A' is the very pinnacle of their genre. Uplifting indie guitars, pumping beats, a hypnotic bassline and a striking monochrome video all make this commercially appealing but it's the singalong chorus which is made for live audiences that really seals the deal. Also, in 2026, the plea "Can I get all the things I'll ever want and all I'll ever need", seems both reasonable and ridiculous which should tell you everything about where we are as a society these days. Come on Scott Mills and co, you know this will go down a storm during the commute.
