Veronica D'Souza is one of those infuriating people who seems to make a success out of everything she turns her hand to - from fashion to music and generally being an inspiring person - but I've decided to bask in the glory of people like that rather than resent them. D'Souza's new single, 'Peaches In My Halo', is a heady mix of gospel, icy cool alt-pop and sheer creative freedom that would sit comfortably alongside songs by Janelle Monae, Lizzo, Kimbra and Jessie Ware. The layers of melody and joy are just beautiful to behold and I'd urge anyone to let this one lift them up on a down day.
