Tooth Gore - Spoiled Milk

This one isn't out for like a week or so but Newquay's Tooth Gore is such a talent that I wanted to give you a heads up. The new single from the singer-songwriter, 'Spoiled Milk', sits nicely alongside Weezer or Fountains of Wayne as the scratchy, grungy guitars blend with ear worm melodies and West Coast vocals that conjur up images of white tube socks, skate parks and palm trees. There are also elements of Frank Turner's early solo stuff in the raw energy and enthusiasm which is always a welcome visitor to my ears.
