Dutch artist Tess Rose Jackson is readying herself for the release of her new EP in January 2025 with the release of her new single, 'Stick In The Mud'. The track is a laid-back lament with First Aid Kit inspired country guitars and soft, warm vocals that soothe your furrowed brow and aching soul. There's a sweetness to the tone of Jackson's voice that I find irresistible but when those sweeping, swooning strings join in then it's game over - there's a place in my heart for this kind of song and it gets bigger with every passing year.
