With a debut album on the way, Manchester collective Winachi have kindly dropped us a little teaser in the shape of new single 'Smoulder'. The guitars are super funky, the beats are loose and the whole vibe is laid back whilst still being tight in the rhythm section. Sure, there's a bit of baggy in there (it's in the DNA) but there's also a smattering of California sunshine and Route 66 road trippin mixed in there too. Imagine Shaun Ryder had bought a one-way ticket to LA back in the day and this is what you might have ended up with.
