This might sound like the start to a joke but I'll give it a go anyway; what do you get if you mix a Spaniard, a Danish-Spaniard and a Brit with Brazilian roots in the cultural souffle dish that is Totnes and throw in a pineapple and a giant plastic cock for good measure? Well, Los Custureros is what you get (the pineapple and fowl are not necessarily crucial to this) and we should all be glad of it. The trio, who's name literally translates as the Seamstresses, have released this glorious new track, 'Como Tu Gusta El Cafe?' (aka 'How Do You Like You're Coffee?') and its just in time. Lazy, sun drenched guitars and a pitter-patter rhythm transport immediately to the curb side cafe in oppressive heat before our three amigos start to sing in a way that makes me want to run away with them. You don't need to understand the language to feel the passion, the lustful dance and the awkward energy of a new romance in the making. Beautiful music from three beautiful souls.
