'Ghost Town' is only the second release from moody Black Rose Moves but the duo are already carving out quite the niche for themselves. The track finds the Brummie pair in pulsating form with a throbbing synth bass line and doomy, Numan-esque vocals creating a bristling and uneasy atmosphere. As the electronic melodies and hard hitting beats build up, the accompanying drone footage of abandoned buildings adds to the sense of post-apocalyptic starkness. Dark, stylish and brilliantly bleak.
