Who could resist an artist who describes her style as Spaghetti-Western-Pop? Not me. Italian singer-songwriter Berenice brings her single 'Little Red Heart' to the table with this unique genre description and it's bang on the money. The hints of alternative influences are there in the moody, bass driven intro that sounds like Alanis at her angsty best but then the saloon doors swing open and in comes Berenice, guns a-blazing. There's a Bon Jovi-esque guitar solo (Young Guns era, natch) and then some powerful pop vocals that were made for big crowds to sing along to.
