Regular readers will know that I love me a debut release so I'm excited to share the debut single from Manchester outfit Trip Sitter with you. 'Try To Carry On' is a laid back but crisp sounding with production quality that sounds far too accomplished for a band so early in their career. There are some lush guitar sounds that nod towards Tame Impala or the Maccabees while the general vibe sounds like Fleetwood Mac with Rooney on vocal duties. West Coast mellow vibes fed through a Manchester filter of cool with some baggy residue getting caught up in the mix. Gorgeous, more please.
