Bristol alt-rock trio Pollyanna Blue are back with new single 'Daydream' and it's a bit of a cracker. A 90s inspired acoustic strum and subdued vocals get things going gently but before too long the electric guitars and crashing rhythm section join in. What with the powerful rock vocals (she can really wail - sorry, I watched Wayne's World this week), this track stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Rews or Veruca Salt but with the edge of the likes of My Vitriol at their heaviest. Pollyanna Blue are a bloody good band and more people need to wake up and smell that particular coffee.
