Twat Union - UTI

With a late, late play for band name of the year comes Twat Union, a London collective of women with their new single 'UTI'. My first impression is this sounds a little inspired by Ian Dury and the Blockheads if they were fronted by Lily Allen with Kate Nash and Kae Tempest on backing vocals but that is a very, very lazy assessment. "U to the T to the I don't feel fine" they sing with a raw sneer and sexy guitars that go straight to the hips. "Could it be thrush? It's burning in the bush" is another great line that is almost certainly unique in the great pantheon of lyricism. Surely a collab with the NHS is only a matter of time?
