Leeds collective Venus Grrrls (you've really got to growl those r's) have come flying back with new single 'Liar Liar' and it's not slowing down for anyone or anything. Driving drums and bass underpin powerful pop-rock vocals only to be joined by a wall of guitars that almost demand a giant stack of amps. Fans of the likes of Rews, Erotic Secrets of Pompeii or the Veruca Salt with an English slant will adore this track and there's more to come, I'd wager.
