I've always had a soft spot for the collective TEKE::TEKE and that spot got an awful lot softer with new single 'Doppleganger'. A playful melody, some flute, a bunch of horns and a shuddering guitar are just some of the players in this theatrical piece which is 60s influenced, tinged with sepia sadness and as cool as a poet wearing a black turtle neck outside a Paris cafe. Creativity, unpredictability and a whole lot of fun - what more do you want from a tune?
