I'm rapidly warming up to Miya Folick and if you've yet to have the pleasure then you really ought to get on board as soon as you can. Folick's new single 'Cockroach' is a short but sweet slice of delicately crafted cake laced with acid and razor blades - who wouldn't enjoy that? Soft organs and barely sung vocals delivering the devastating line "I'm a fucking cockroach and you can't kill me". A frantic and distracted beat joins in to give some energy to the fragility but that sharp centre is still there, waiting to catch you off guard the second you look the other way.
