Funky retro vibes are the order of the day on the new single from trio Girl Ray and I'd recommend you get involved with 'Up' if you know what's good for you. Scratchy guitars, lush but lo-fi vocal harmonies and a beat that will go straight to your hips all combine to make the kind of song that will have you yearning for the Sunset Strip back in the day. Super cool vibes but without trying too hard - a hard trick to pull off but one that Girl Ray manage with panache.
