With a name like Delilah Holliday, stardom was always on the cards and with a song like 'Everything I Ever Wanted', it is surely a few steps closer. The Londoner creates an intimate vibe on her new single with sparse keys, the odd click for rhythm and then just her sultry, dusky vocal singing softly from the back seat of a taxi at four in the morning. After a couple of minutes, a more persistent beat kicks in with some vinyl crackle and erratic synth swipes to elevate the mood and give you a sort of audio sunrise on the darkest moments of your night.
